Itinerary

Friday: Welcome Reception

Get to know your presenters and fellow attendees with some welcome drinks and hors d’oeuvres. We will start the weekend strong and dive right in with networking basics and the importance of creating professional community. We will also go over what we will learn throughout the weekend and set intentions for our learning.

Saturday: Money, Ethics and Thriving Practice

In the morning we will dive into some of the nuances of running an ethical therapy business, including personal ethics and HIPAA considerations. Our afternoon workshop will cover financial considerations, and we will explore the emotional financial blocks that keeps us from thriving. Afterwards we will enjoy our island activity in Aruba to cool off from the day and have a chance to experience some of Aruba.

Sunday: Basics to Abundance

Our morning workshop will focus on the basic practical needs of running a therapy business. We will cover the benefits of a solo practice versus a group, how to choose your business structure, whether or not to take insurance, and other topics. In the afternoon we will focus on where to begin with finding your niche, generate some marketing ideas, and process various fears that get in the way of growth. We will also discuss practices for how to prevent burnout.

Monday: Return Day

Monday morning before returning, we will take some time to reflect on the knowledge we gained and how to incorporate it into your current phase. We will also process how to gently reenter the real world after experiencing intense learning (and fun!).
